Free League Publishing has opened pre-orders for Alderland, a new expansion for the retro-fantasy survival RPG Forbidden Lands. The book is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2027, while customers who pre-order it through the publisher's online store receive immediate early access to the PDF.

The campaign takes groups to Alderland, a war-torn kingdom south of Ravenland. The supplement introduces a new setting for Forbidden Lands, detailing the land, its peoples, religions and 20 provinces.

At the heart of the book is The Eye of Heaven, a campaign in which ten powerful figures vie for control of the kingdom. The conflict gives players room to chart their own course amid the war.

Alderland also includes eight fully illustrated adventure sites. They can be played in any order, giving each group the freedom to decide how to navigate the campaign's events and explore the kingdom's regions.

The hardcover edition is available to pre-order for US$ 41,61. The physical release of Alderland remains scheduled for the first quarter of 2027.
