The Time Without Tide campaign on BackerKit was fully funded just moments after launch. Chaosium’s new RPG was created by David Naylor and James Coquillat and features an original game system set in a strange, fog-shrouded world.

Players take on the role of Delvers, explorers who leave the safety of fortified settlements to venture into the World of Fog. With lanterns in hand, they reopen lost paths, investigate unusual wonders, face bizarre horrors and protect the mysterious survivors of a fallen moon.

The setting combines faux-Victorian aesthetics with a post-apocalyptic world. It is dangerous, unpredictable and filled with secrets. Diplomacy, creativity and character-driven roleplaying are among the ways players can overcome its challenges, while tactical combat becomes an alternative when negotiations fail.

Character creation is designed to offer plenty of customization. Equipment, vehicles, companions, traits and strange adaptations all shape how each Delver plays. Mutations caused by the fog can also grant unusual powers, along with unexpected consequences.

The campaign offers the hardcover core rulebook, an introductory adventure book with more than 100 pages and the Keeper’s Pack in both physical and digital formats for a contribution of US$ 160. The hardcover core rulebook costs US$ 50, while the PDF edition can be reserved for US$ 20. A free Quickstart is also available.

The campaign remains open until 30 September 2026. The materials are currently scheduled to be delivered in September 2027.
